The Celestial Pearl Danio, also known as the Galaxy Rasbora or Danio margaritatus, is a small and fascinating fish species.

Here's some information about them:

1. Size: The Celestial Pearl Danio is a tiny fish, with males typically growing to about 0.6 to 0.8 inches (1.5 to 2 cm) in length, while females are slightly larger, reaching around 0.8 to 1 inch (2 to 2.5 cm).

2. Appearance: They have a striking appearance with iridescent colors and pearly spots on their bodies, which is why they are often referred to as "Galaxy Rasboras." Males generally have more vibrant colors and brighter spots compared to females.

3. Origin: These fish are native to the shallow forest streams and rice paddies of Myanmar (formerly Burma) in Southeast Asia.

4. Behavior: Celestial Pearl Danios are generally peaceful and social fish. They prefer living in schools and feel more comfortable when kept in groups of at least six or more.

5. Water Conditions: They prefer slightly acidic to neutral water with a pH range of 6.0 to 7.5 and a temperature between 64 to 75°F (18 to 24°C). It's essential to maintain good water quality and provide adequate filtration.

6. Feeding: These fish are omnivores and have a varied diet. They readily accept high-quality dry flakes or pellets but also enjoy small live or frozen foods like daphnia, brine shrimp, and micro worms.

7. Tank Setup: Since they are small, a relatively small aquarium with a minimum of 10 gallons can house a group of Celestial Pearl Danios. Provide plants, driftwood, and other hiding spots to create a natural-looking environment.

8. Breeding: Breeding Celestial Pearl Danios can be a bit challenging. They are egg layers and may require a separate breeding tank with specific water conditions and proper hiding places for the eggs.

These charming and colorful fish are a popular choice for planted aquariums and nano tanks. If you decide to keep them, ensure they have a well-maintained environment to thrive and showcase their stunning colors.
